Winner of an international competition, this project is set in an extraordinary context on the edge of the Fontainebleau forest, close to the famous rock-climbing crags.
Passive building certification, prefabricated wood-straw construction, the program is not lacking in requirements: the forest creates a significant mask to solar gain, and the single-storey construction, desired by the owners, complicates the work of compacting the volumes.
Largely founded on metal piles, the main house leaves a minimal footprint on the natural terrain.
